Privacy policy

This policy explains how Bookvero ("we", "us") handles information when you use bookvero.app. Bookvero helps businesses scan, store and export invoices for bookkeeping.

Who is responsible

For the invoices and documents a business uploads, that business decides what is stored and why, and Bookvero processes it on the business's behalf. For account details (such as your sign-in email), Bookvero is responsible. Contact: amit_8feb@hotmail.com.

What we collect

• Account details: email address, name if provided, and sign-in method (email or Google).
• Business details: business name, shops, team members and their roles.
• Documents: invoice photos and PDFs you upload, and the details read from them (supplier, invoice number, date, amounts, VAT, category).
• Technical data needed to keep you signed in and the service secure.

How we use it

• To provide the service: filing, reading and exporting invoices, and managing your team.
• To send service emails such as invitations, sign-up confirmations, password resets and file-removal notices.
• To manage subscriptions and keep the service secure.

Uploaded documents are read by an automated AI service to fill in invoice details. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who can see your data

Each business's data is kept separate. Only people that business has added can see its records, according to their role. Shop scanner logins can submit documents but cannot view filed ones. We use hosting, email and AI providers to run the service, and they handle data only to provide it.

How long we keep it

Uploaded document files are removed one year after upload, with an email notice to the business owner about 30 days beforehand. Invoice records (the details and totals) stay until the business deletes them or closes its account.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how it is used. Email us at the address above. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
